1. $6,000 added new TAX/yr. - Our Non ad Valorem Property Tax WILL increase if this passes. Causing Financial Hardship for many neighbors.

2. Gates will block ALL Entrances & Exits (only ONE Entrance at 64 st & 72 ave). This WILL give you MAJOR Traffic Delays - Just imagine 8am/5pm delays on 72nd Ave. For emergency responders - will add major delay to their arrival/departure) 

 

3. We have numerous Fix Income Owners, Retirees, Elderly, Widows & Others who can NOT AFFORD this TAX. VOTE NO FOR THEM TOO.

4. Creates a Special Taxing District for our 168 Homes! In addition to $6,000/yr - it will increase yearly with no limits. If they want lights, sidewalks, special projects,  ect - City has vehicle to tax us more.

 5. Creates a defacto HOA(home owners association) adding restrictions. We bought homes in neighborhood to avoid HAOs/Restrictions.

 

6. Gated Community presents access DIFFICULTIES to Family, Friends, Service providers & WILL add a lot of unneeded transit time to get to your home or exit our neighborhood.

7. Gates/Guardgate will NOT prevent non residents from entering the neighborhood (county roads-access can not be denied).

 

8. IF ITS NOT BROKEN, WHY FIX IT? WHY PAY THE CITY $6,000 A YEAR FOREVER? 168 homes here, 30 homes filed for this - Why impose this upon the others?

9. Save Our Homes law WILL NOT prevent this NON AD VALOREM TAX added to your property tax bill. Every year you will be charged $6,000 extra forever.
